There are proposed changes to the Bi-Laws, with an addition of a Point System. Proposed changes will include membership, dues/contributions/& Disbursements, Amendments, Policy Changes, Senior Scholarships/Awards. Mission Statement:
A non-profit organization committed to supporting nä 'ohana o Kamehameha.   We are dedicated to uniting community members interested in promoting cultural and educational enrichment for our haumana in an effort to perpetuate a strong foundation and continued spirit of 'ohana. 


We sponsor community service projects, organize and hold fundraising events to annually acknowledge the high achieving, civic minded West Hawai'i boarder students in support of their continued educational pursuits.

The end of the school year is near...KS West Hawaii ATP wants to extend a warm welcome to our new invitees for school year 2015-2016, as well as a BIG MAHALO to Na 'Ohana for your support & kokua throughout the year!! We are looking forward to another fabulous year of working with you to help support our KS West Hawaii boarders.....


The school year of 2015-2016 is quickly approaching. Our KS West Hawaii ATP is looking for nominations for our open leadership roles. Roles may include fundraiser co-chair, phone tree parent, community service co-chairs, etc. If you are interested in helping out KS West HI ATP, please contact us by email or phone. Please note that some spots have been filled. Please dig deep and find a way to offer your services.

December 6- Waimea Christmas Parade 3-9pm
December 27- Community Clean Up @ KS Preschool Honaunau 8:30-noon, potluck to follow

February 21- Ho'olaulea Prep Day @ Kona Hongwanji 9:30am-3pm

Prep Day Items Needed:

3 bags of fresh ginger (Costco size)
3 bags of peeled garlic (Costco size)
40lbs white sugar
8 bags of dried prunes (Costco size)
2 bags of dried apricots (Costco size)
1 bag dried cranberries( Costco size)
8 bags of bell peppers (all colors)
1 large bag of carrots
3 bottles of white vinegar
12 lbs. Cream Cheese
1 large tub of Sour Cream

Avocados are also needed..LOTS
Avocados should be picked no sooner than the 20th to ensure its full freshness and ripeness...
Drop off is scheduled for Feb. 23rd...

February 28- Ho'olaulea Event in O'ahu 7am-5pm
March 28- Community Service @ Amy Greenwell Ethnobotanical Gardens in Captain Cook 9am-2pm Potluck to follow...please bring gardening tools and gloves
*** May 3- Golf Tournament @ Big Island Country Club
check-in time @ 7:30***

June 20- End of Year KS West Hawaii ATP picnic outing(place to be announced)
